Back to School – Retail Sales & Inventory Reporting

I recently experienced the honor of lecturing at my alma mater, the College of Florida. We discussed the essentials of retail analytics, the instruments and roles of retail and wholesale inventory planners. We talked about how products conclusions are produced to with any luck , make magic on the gross sales ground. But the magic does not usually come about.
A college student questioned what triggers a retail outlet to have empty cabinets. Which is a full lecture in just itself. We talked about some of the explanations- what can be managed and what just can’t. They know what they go through- that the pandemic triggered havoc on the provide chain.
