George Albert Jones
INDIANAPOLIS — George Albert Jones, 96, passed away peacefully Monday early morning, Aug. 30, 2021, at his new house at Traditions at North Willow. He was surrounded by spouse and children.
George was born March 18, 1925, at household in Muncie, Indiana, to his mom and dad, William T. Jones and Helen Louise Jones (nee’ Nelson).
He was the eldest of three brothers. He attended Royerton Significant University.
When his country named during Earth War II, George left college in May well 1943 and joined the U.S. Navy. He was in-depth to the Naval Armed Guard, wherever he served as a gunners mate on the ship Laredo Victory and other merchant ships in the South Pacific. Funeral products and services for Mr. Owen D. Owen Dewitte Jones, beloved spouse, father, grandfather, and terrific-grandfather, joined the heavenly choir on Wednesday, the 7th of July, 2021.
Born on the 31st of July, 1926, in Pickens County, Ala., Owen was just one of 12 small children and survived a complicated childhood, dropping his mother at age six.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce Ann Abernethy Jones his father
