Bobby DaWayne Jones
LONGVIEW — Beloved spouse, father, and grandfather, Bobby DaWayne Jones, 74, handed away on September 5, 2021. Bobby was born on August 26, 1947 to Dan and Inez Jones. He was a lifelong resident of Longview, exactly where he graduated from Longview High Faculty in 1965. Soon after high university, Bobby served his state proudly as a member of the Air Drive in the Vietnam War, exactly where he labored as an plane mechanic.
Bobby met the love of his daily life, Kathy McCormick, even though doing work at LeTourneau and they were being married on December 10, 1971. With each other they lifted and loved a few young children, Kelley, Kevin, and Emily. Bobby was devoted to his family members, and the best joy in his daily life was when all of his youngsters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren would be at his household swimming in his pool.
His enjoy of learning led him to his occupation as a safety specialist, the place he created numerous lifelong good friends. He was well respected in his career, and mentored numerous in both their occupations and life. Bobby’s entrepreneurial spirit impressed him to study and mature. He was always looking at books to broaden his understanding. He passed on his appreciate of finding out and exemplary work ethic to all of his little ones and grands. Bobby and Kathy relished traveling the entire world. He also loved to prepare dinner with his household, hike in character, and mature vegetables in his hothouse and backyard.
He was achieved in heaven by his son, Kevin Jones father, Dan Jones Mom in Legislation Jerri McCormick Brooks and Father in Legislation L.M. McCormick.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Kathy McCormick Jones daughters Kelley Jones Sullins and partner, Scott Sullins, Emily Jones Dunn and spouse, Matthew Dunn mom Ruby Inez Jones sisters Karen Brown and partner John Brown, Janis Burklin and husband Clint Burklin, Marsha Thomas and husband Invoice Thomas Sister in Legislation Karen McCormick Fernald and partner Stan Fernald Grandchildren Chelsea Sullins Vincent and spouse Paul Vincent, Abigail Sullins, Brody Dunn, Lauren Van Burkleo Linson and husband Dillon Linson, Madison Dunn, Kevin Cole Sullins, and Deacon Dunn fantastic-grandchildren Riley, Mackenzie and Jameson and quite a few nieces and nephews.
